Care and collection notes
Care for an embroidered polo
Use the garment label as the authority for washing and drying.
Fabric, dyes, trims and embroidery can have different care requirements. Read the label on the actual garment before choosing a washing cycle or stain treatment. General advice should not override a specific manufacturer instruction.
Work through it
- Separate the garment according to its care instructions and check for loose items or fasteners that could catch the embroidery. Treat a stain only with a method appropriate to the fabric.
- Use the permitted wash temperature and drying method. Avoid assuming that a performance fabric tolerates the same heat as another polo in your wardrobe.
- Inspect the garment after cleaning and reshape it as directed. Store it dry, with the collar and embroidered area protected from unnecessary crushing or snagging.
Check your result
- The actual care label is checked.
- Treatments suit the material.
- The garment is fully dry before storage.
